Misdemeanor and felony DUI cases at Victorville Courthouse are prosecuted by the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office.

The first court appearance following a DUI arrest is called an “arraignment.” This appearance presents you with your first opportunity to plead “guilty,” “not guilty,” or “nolo contendere” (no contest) to any criminal charge.
DUI arraignments at Victorville Courthouse are heard in the following courtrooms:
- Misdemeanor DUI arraignments: Department 5
- Felony DUI arraignments: Departments 7 and 8
Arraignments for other matters are heard in the following courtrooms:
- Misdemeanor traffic arraignments: Departments 14 and 15
- Other misdemeanor arraignments: Department 5
- Felony arraignments: Departments 7 and 8
We advise everyone to arrive early for court, find his or her name on the court calendar, and check-in with the bailiff in the appropriate courtroom. You should be able to find your name on the list posted on or just outside of the doors of the courtrooms listed above.
